Laptop Refurbishment & Reuse Enquiries
Have working or potentially reusable laptops from your business, school or organisation? RenewByte welcomes enquiries about second-hand laptops suitable for refurbishment and reuse.
Submit Laptop EnquiryEnquiries welcome across the UK. Acceptance depends on ownership, condition and suitability for reuse. We do not currently accept WEEE for recycling or disposal.
Giving Used Laptops a Second Life
Laptops are regularly replaced as organisations upgrade their technology. However, an older laptop may still have useful life remaining.
Suitable second-hand laptops may be refurbished and reused, helping extend their working life. We are not currently accepting waste laptops for recycling or disposal.
RenewByte aims to assess equipment individually and prioritise reuse wherever practical.

Laptop Data Security
Laptops may contain confidential business information, personal files or school records. Simply deleting files does not necessarily remove all recoverable data.
Data-handling requirements must be agreed before any equipment is transferred. RenewByte is testing an in-house Linux-based erasure process and does not currently claim to provide certified data erasure.
